New Review! Art of Love by Khardine Gray 4 Cranky Stars

Art of LoveArt of Love by Khardine Gray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Cranky Stars

You shouldn’t go out the night before a big interview to drown your sorrows over a best friend who betrayed you because you never know who you might wake up next to the following morning. He might be the guy or girl who is also in competition for your position at work and it might be the start of something amazing. This is Jia and Hunters story. Jia being jilted by a supposed best friend who basically gave her savings away to her flavor of the week who ran away with it all. Hunter found his best friend in bed with his girlfriend. They collide in a bar and realize they really like each other, and both have a passion for art. They also learn they are in competition for the same job and must work together. Oddly they learn about themselves and each other and can’t see any way this wont end in heartache but they try anyway. Two different artists, two hearts, and two people who just want to be loved.

I did like the story of Jia and Hunter. I felt somethings were just added to the story but really didn’t play any part in it like the niece. I know there needed to be a dramatic reason why Jia stopped working for Impasso but we never really see her considering how important she supposedly was. There is a lot of sexy times in this book like kindle on fire sexy times. Some of the sex descriptions were kind of funny to me and I’m sure that was the opposite effect Khardine Gray was going for but that’s just my brain.

I liked that they were both selfless when it came to this job. They didn’t have some huge blowup about it. They just loved each other and that was that. That epilogue was so darn cute. I can just imagine it all. All in all if you love a book with heart and soul and some steam your kindle up sexy times then Art of Love is for you.
