New Review! Way Down Below by Nicole Thorn, 4 Cranky Stars

Way Down Below (Way Down Below Series Book 1)Way Down Below by Nicole Thorn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**** 4 Cranky Stars ****

I have discovered another new author and enjoyed reading her book. It was refreshing in that it wasn’t like all of the other books out there. It's not an ordinary love story, far from it. It's humorous and full of shenanigans, that the Devil’s Adult Children do on a daily basis. The practical jokes, temptations, and sins they offer to others seem harmless and fun. You see a side of these antichrist that most of us don't ever think about.

Luc and his twin sisters Blanche and Blair have been looking for the person who killed their brother, Jonah. These antichrists are aggravated because the killer is playing with them. They get close to him but can't catch him.

Luc and his sisters are the sires of the devil and can't sit still. While Luc decides that he's bored and goes out into the world to see what trouble he can find. He meets Shiloh whose family is deeply religious and surround themselves with others like them.

Shiloh has a hard time accepting the way her family and their church members live. She wants to break free from the stronghold her father has over her. Her best friend Faith feels the same way. Shiloh and Faith talk about running away so they don't have to face the future their parents have planned for them. Shiloh stands up for what she wants but her fear keeps her from going any further.

Until, Luc ‘s charms, charisma, and mischievous nature draws Shiloh to him like a moth to a burning light. Luc has skeletons in his closet that he hides from Shiloh. He doesn't know if she can handle the truth. As you read this book, it will make you laugh, smile, and shake your head at the things that happen in it.

I think the Author could have taken a little more time and given us some more back ground information on Luc’s family. There were a few parts in the book where I felt a little lost. It wasn't enough to keep me from enjoying this book. I am looking forward to reading more from this Author.
