New Review! Racine: The Sisterhood Stories 5 Cranky Stars
Racine: The Sisterhood Stories by Alison Clarke
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
5 Cranky Stars
This story was majestic literally and figuratively. Racine feels like she is alone in the world and has to deal with the social injustices because she is a young woman of color.
The way Alison Clarke writes the world in which Racine exists is beautiful, but yet harshly realistic. She intertwines reality and fantasy, and it’s just magical. There are characters from the first book that make an appearance.
I really like the way Clarke has hidden messages of hope in her books
