New Review! Always You (Dirtshine #2) by Roxie Noir 4 Cranky Stars

Always You (Dirtshine, #2)Always You by Roxie Noir
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Cranky Stars

Trevor is like the anti-rock star. He’s not boozing it up or snorting blow or banging groupies in the bathroom. He has eyes for one particular girl and even if he just has to stay her best friend he is totally happy with that. Trevor’s life was never easy. Abuse ran rampant in his house and his baby brother is in prison. He spends each night playing songs on stage next to Darcy and Gavin and forgets his problems for a little while.

Darcy has always been let down. She went from living on the cold snowy streets to playing in a popular rock band. Her best friend is what gets her through her days. She is always in denial when it comes to her feelings and often wonders why anyone would love her. When an on-stage accident tips her world upside down she must come face to face with her demons and let love in.

I’m a sucker for a Rockstar romance. I loved Darcy because despite her brash attitude its meant to hide all her broken parts underneath. Trevor has a heart and he shows it in all his little ways. I can’t wait to see who’s next on this ride that is Dirtshine.
