5 Cranky Stars

Oh Monty and Robbie!! Prim and proper and wild and free shouldn’t make a steamy pair but boy do they ever. I mean come on who wouldn’t love crabs and Thumbalina Bruce Wayne? I would love to see Robbie’s python any day.

Montana Andrews is looking for a fresh start. She moves in with her twin sister who is the total opposite of her. Monty is all proper skirts and cardigans and says things like Oh my cats. She can’t curse to save her life and anything remotely sexy sends her into hiding. She’s a teacher and very strict in her routine. It’s when she steps out her box she finds herself on a counter in a bar pinned between the wall and a very sexy Robbie Cross.

Robbie is all tattoos and metal music and so much snark and sexiness. The relationship he has with his best friend Zach (yes that one) Is admirable but Xavier makes him even more attractive. He spots a buttoned-up girl across the bar and uses his best pick up line on her and that’s the start of something amazing. He doesn’t want to complicate his life anymore than it is, but it happens naturally. He hopes to hold onto with all he has but life has a way of throwing roadblocks at you and even he is at a loss of what to do.

Teagan Hunter has done it again, but she doesn’t need me to say this. I will never get tired of reading her texts between two amazing characters. Monty and Robbie are an unlikely pair, but they work. Just like in the books before she adds some interesting animals to the mix. I’m still laughing about having crabs. I hated that douchy teacher Brandon. Go away sir. This book is swoon worthy, funny and sexy and that’s a winning combo.
