Holliday Prescott has traded in her party girl wigs and bad decisions and even worse a tragedy that occurred behind in California. Now she lives in New York with her sister Charlotte and her family. She is an executive at Charlottes booming fashion empire and her life is pretty good. She often spends time at The York, a fancy hotel in the city, to give her sister some space so she can focus on family and not be in their way. It’s here she encounters two precocious little girls who steal her heart and with them is their father an Irish actor everyone wants to know. Holliday is drawn to Ronan but knows this can’t be anything more than two people satisfying an itch. They don’t expect real feelings to pop up and she surely doesn’t want her dirty past to sully his career.
Ronan has never been so smitten by a woman other than his devious ex-wife. He sees his girls talking to a beauty in the hotel café and knows he must get her name. He accuses Holliday of some horrible things before their attraction can get off the ground. When she gives him a second chance things start to flourish and get dirty behind closed doors. He knows she is someone he wants in his life, but she made it clear it’s just for now. Ronan sets out to woo her despite it all and wants to protect her from the past that left scars. When the paparazzi start showing up and posting headlines about his mystery woman is when Holliday starts to pull away.
I loved Holliday and Ronan. It was such a princess story. Seemingly normal girl who has grown up in the spotlight isn’t afraid of his star quality. They are a match made in heaven really. Unscripted will also steam up your kindle. Woo wee. I loved his two precious little girls Leah and Jade. They knew how to play their dad. I can’t wait to jump into book two right away. I’m excited to see where their story will lead them.
