New Review! Wrath (The Elite Seven #3) by Claire C. Riley 4.5 Cranky Stars

Wrath (The Elite Seven, #3)Wrath by Claire C. Riley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 Cranky Stars

Samuel Gunner AKA Wrath answers everything with his fist. Years of pent up rage have finally unleashed on the underground fighting circuit. Gone are his fancy suits and replaced with leather jackets and jeans and chain-smoking cigarettes all to gain attention from The Elite. From the outside his life is perfect but inside the mansion walls being the son of Maxwell Gunner and the twin to the always perfect Sabella Gunner comes with a heavy price. Years of abuse have stacked up and he thinks the only way he can get out from under Maxwell’s reign is to join The Elite. When he is given his first task it’s to betray the trust of the one person who has ever shown him any kindness besides his sister Sabella. Sam and Patience had an innocent friendship until he ruined it at 13. Fast forward here they are and finally back in each other good graces. When he has a major decision to make, he doesn’t realize it will have a domino effect and cause so many more problems. Problems he might not make it out from under and Patience won’t walk away unscathed.

I don’t have words for Wrath and that’s a first. I was equal parts feeling sorry and thinking please handle this like a man. He is naughty he needs to dominate, and I think that he learned that from his dad. Patience was certain of her feelings and did things most people wouldn’t do for love. She went above and beyond for Sam. I’m weary of Sebastian something about him doesn’t sit right with me and I’m kind of scared to read his story. I think it will be darker than Samuel's story.

I’m absolutely in love with this series and each one is so different and unique. Wrath is dirty, it’s sexy, it’s love in his purest form but it’s not for the weak.
