A story about shifters is always a good start for me. This story was well written and held my attention. The author has created a world in another dimension that is constantly bathed in snow. It is inhabited by Were’s and other monsters. In this case, the Were’s are good. There are also Fae and Goddesses. It is also a story of love and war.


Cade is the King of his land, and a darkness is threatening to overtake his kingdom. He asks the Goddess of Wyth what he should do and is told it is a curse with but one cure. Meanwhile, in the human world, Amber’s life is falling apart. She lost her job, has a mean roommate and hates her life. However, she is pure of heart and selfless. Just what Cade needs to save his kingdom.


Cade goes to her world and kidnaps her. Well, sort of, since her life is such a mess anyway, she goes willingly. She is told about the curse and introduced to the Goddess. From there you must read the story to find out what happens. There is more to this story than what I have given you. It truly is a fun read and fairly quick, but that maybe because I couldn’t put it down.
