This is a well written story. I found it entertaining and a little different. As usual, there is mystery, magic and strange creatures. Also, a different world parallel to Earth.


The main character is Rose. She had her life all planned out. She had her dream job to start and a secure future guaranteed. However, nothing is ever guaranteed. In college graduation day, her parents and her sister were killed in an auto accident on there way to the ceremony. Unable to handle her grief, she throws a dart and moves to Indiana for a fresh start.


Once there her life takes an amazing turn. She has a small forest behind her apartment where she goes for solace. When she gets to her favorite spot, it has changed. That change and her fear of getting lost in the dark changes her life forever. I honestly couldn't put this story down. Read it for yourself and enjoy the ride.
