New Review! The Fairy Queen by Jovee Winters

The Fairy Queen (The Dark Queens #6)The Fairy Queen by Jovee Winters
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**** 4 Cranky Stars ****

Galetta the Blue........ Beautiful? Yes, devastatingly so!

Benevolent? Oh. Hell. No! Try vicious, cruel, wicked, malevolent terrifying and despised by all.
She has single handedly been responsible for the failure of almost all failed relationships on Kingdom, and has killed more people on a whim than even she remembers. So the question is how such a wicked creature even deserves to have her story told? Her creator knows of her trials.

Enter Syrith, son of Zelena Hermosa, the Queen of Hearts and Ragoth the Dragon shifter, now the King of Wonderland. Although conceived in love, it happened in the madness that was Wonderland and he was born half Dragonborne, but his true form is a thing of nightmares....part corporeal and part phantom. Able to shift into any creature he imagines, a tragedy has left him a broken man.

This is a story of terror and hate, fear, intimidation, and gruesome horror. It is also a story of unconditional sacrifice, remorse, redemption and rebirth.

All the Kingdom books are able to be read as stand alone books including this one, It is however my recommendation that The Passionate Queen be read first as it deals with Syrith's parents story.

This is a pivotal book in the history of Kingdom and as such I award it 4 stars.
