***** 5 Cranky Stars *****
Ryan, Zach and Jay McLelas. Three brothers, one identity, continuing the work that their father started, brokering the peace between the crime syndicates that corrupt their city, undercover as the masked man, the vigilante Klepto.
All three of the brothers have developed abilities through their mother's Native American ancestry, Ryan has super hearing and a German Shepherd Spirit guide with whom he communicates telepathically. At night he patrols the streets as Klepto and by day he heads off McLelas Financial as CEO.
Amanda Werner is a police detective and passionate about her job. The first time they meet, her on a job with her partner, him as Klepto doing what Klepto does, on different sides of the law. Chemistry between them is instant and Klepto can not resist the temptation to kiss this captivating detective and thereby setting in motion an ancient prophecy.
This book captivated me instantly and I confess that I neglected other obligations to read it to its conclusion. It is a fast paced, well written story with all the right ingredients to make for a delicious read with characters that will remain with me for a long time.
I happily give this book 5 stars
