The Guardians had me hooked from the first page. Most of the Guardians basically live on
these islands that connect with each other underground so they can move around. There are
some that live off the islands but eventually come back. There are wolves, witches, vampires.


The vampire race is fading and only the ones who can help are the Atherton twins. They need to
ascend to become true Guardians and take on the responsibilities they were born for but no one
knows where they are and the without the full vote of the council they can not be sought out.
However, if a non-council member were to look for them…..Trackers are paid and the twins are
found. Now the question is will they go home and ascend? Someone is desperately trying to
keep them from it and trying to take out certain council members.


In all honesty my personal opinion, from the beginning to where it stopped the book had me
wanting more. All the characters had a back story line that shows you why they are the way they
are. The stories intertwined with others so you could see from all points of views what happened
and how they felt and it wasn’t an overwhelming amount of information to turn you off. Those
who want love can’t have it and those who had love lost it. I recommend that you read The
Guardians. I can’t wait for the next series
