Thea finally has an invite to Castle DuMoir, and she is eager to get there. Once she gets there, she finds out that she is not just a guest, but she is expected to be dinner for the vampires that reside there. Drake is a vampire prince, and he is not your typical vampire.


This is a vampire story that seriously has bite to it. Thea isn’t your typical naïve young lady. She knows that she needs to survive, and she will do so by using any means necessary. Drake is nothing like your typical sparkly vampire. No shade at that vampire bunch. The author makes it easy for you to imagine yourself in the story alongside the characters.


I really enjoyed how the plot is fast paced. We get both POVs, which makes the story even better. There is great character development, and I cannot wait to read the second book.
