New Review! Fate (SEAL'ed #3) by Andi Jaxon 4 Cranky Stars

Fate (SEAL'ed #3)Fate by Andi Jaxon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Cranky Stars

This is book 3 in The Sealed Series. You really must read them in order for the stories and characters to make sense. It, like the others, is filled with graphic sex, language and violence. The storyline is really good and the characters are very believable but I can only give it 4 Stars due to the erotica. These characters could all carry their stories without the erotic being so graphic.

In this book, the characters of Jimmy and Emma evolve. Jimmy is the 45 year old Seal teams retired sniper instructor and he runs the local bar they all hang in. Emma is the 20 year old sister of the team’s LT or commanding officer. They met briefly in book 1 at a party. When the team shipped out, LT gave Emma Jimmy’s number in case of an emergency.

Emma came to San Diego to go to college and straighten out her life. She is perpetually making bad choices and decisions. When Javier helps her out on campus she falls for his good looks and sweet nature. That soon changes and in the middle of the night she makes an emergency call to Jimmy to please help her.

Jimmy at first doesn’t know who it is but when he finds out, he knows he must save her. Being old enough to be her father, he doesn’t want an emotional or romantic entanglement but she is beautiful in his eyes. What follows is a roller coaster of emotions for both of them especially when the team returns. Again, Emma needs Jimmy to save her.

Now I’m hooked on this series and waiting for book 4.
