New Review! The Fae Games Duet by Jill Ramsower 5 Cranky Stars
The Fae Games Duet by Jill Ramsower
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
5 Cranky Stars
I’m giving this book 5 stars simply because I like the storyline and the characters. These are previously published books that were combined into a duet. I was surprised by the many grammatical and proofreading errors in books that were already in circulation. I also didn’t like that these books were treated as two separate books. Usually, one book just flows into the next. Putting an Authors Notes in between the two books was distracting. But as I said before, the story flowed smoothly and the characters were really charming.
This is the story of Rebecca, a young art major that longs for a career in a museum. Suddenly, her dream comes true and she is off to Belfast to pursue this dream. However, once in Belfast, strange events unfold. She is followed by strange but handsome men. She starts to see strange creatures. Thankfully, her best friend Ashley has joined her for her first two weeks. But, how can she tell Ash without sounding crazy. Somethings are left unsaid.
Her first strange encounter is with Lochlan who seems to know her but she has never seen him before. Then there is Ronan who asks her to lunch. In a land known for mystical creatures, what has she gotten herself into and why is she so affected? She is being told she is the key to stopping a war of the Fae but why?
Join Rebecca as she trains and finds the answers she is looking for in this 2 book set. Nothing is as it seems in Rebecca’s Ireland.
