What a fantastic read this is. Lennox and Sutton were totally in love. Sutton was a renowned pianist, she had been playing and having lessons since she was four years old. Lennox was a realtor and was very good at it. They did have a rather large elephant in their relationship though, Sutton did not like being intimate. She couldn't even cope with a cuddle or a kiss to the forehead as time was passing it was getting worse. Lennox was so hurt by the rejection, but never once thought about straying. He was devoted to her, but the situation was getting worse.
Lennox worked with a friend and his wife and very often did showings with Ebony on the larger properties. One day out of the blue Ebony came on strong to him, he was not having it. He was not a cheat. They all went out to dinner where Ebony was obviously flirting with Lennox and making rude comments to Sutton. Sutton started to think that maybe they were having an affair, but knew that Lennox would never do that to her even though she had been pushing him further and further away. She arranged to meet up with her one and only friend, when she saw Ebony crossing the road. She didn't know why but just felt the need to follow her. She was going back to work and as she got to the door she saw Sutton behind her and slammed the door on her fingers. The pain was so intense and they started swelling straight away, her friend had witnessed the incident and ran to Sutton saying they had to go to hospital straight away. When they went to see the marriage counsellor she said to take the opportunity to go on a holiday and try to find themselves again. With much reluctance Sutton agreed to go. When they got to the holiday destination it was very secluded close to the beach, with just one other beach house to the side of them.
The first night there Sutton did not wasn't to go out she said she was tired, but Lennox went without her and this is where he met Margot. She took his breathe away. No spoilers at all. It really is a must read.
