Twyla grew up like a gypsy. Her parents were travel bloggers and they have led her all over. She had the need to put down roots and landed in Tennessee. She gets a job as a cocktail waitress and it’s a nightmare. One bad night she encounters a hot cop (her words not mine) and her life is forever changed.


Jensen is trained to serve and protect. He has dedicated his life to the force and is waiting for his boom. When he has a night out with the guys he spots a waitress in trouble. He feels this force pulling him to her and he steps in to help her. When he locks eyes with Twyla he knows she is his boom.


Twyla and Jensen are insta love. They’ve never known each other before their chance encounter. I like these Happily Ever Alpha stories. You get to briefly see Nico from the Until series in this one. I liked that Jensen was a take charge kind of guy almost a knight in shining armor with a naughty mouth. I liked that Twyla wasn’t all wishy washy and knew how to take care of herself. These are fun quick reads!
