New Review! Thunder Road (The Witches of Wheeler Park #2) by Christine Pope 5 Cranky Stars

Thunder Road (The Witches of Wheeler Park Book 2)Thunder Road by Christine Pope
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 CRANKY STARS

This is the follow up to Storm Born and I highly recommend that you read that one first. This is a professionally written series about witches in America and a young girl who never knew she was one.

When she was found, it was by both a member of a large clan of witches and an investigator from the Department of Homeland Security. Addie Grant was born with a special talent that she had no control over and that is how they found her. Jake wants to train her and as it turns out she is part of his clan. Agent Lenz wants to experiment on her because no one knows about the witches. When Agent Lenz finds her for the second time, she decides to run as fast and as far as she can to keep the Wilcox witches safe. So, this is that story. She no sooner gets to New Mexico and the Prima there has her brought to her. Luckily, she decides to help Addie and away she goes to hide in Wyoming with a tribe of Indians. There are no witches in Wyoming. However, when Jake finds her gone, he has his cousin try to find her. Then he leaves to look for her.

It is a love story and mystery rolled into one. Hopefully, these cliffhanger endings will resolve in not too many books.
