Molly thought that after losing her husband and leaving her newborn to mainly stay with her sister would keep her safe. When Molly’s sister dies she has to become the full time mom. Molly is also a Sentry. A Sentry works in the field like a detective, only with Witches, Werewolves, Vampires and Demons. People and creatures are turning up dead and at first it seems to be the work of the biker werewolves that Molly fears, for they are the ones who killed her husband, or so she thought, Sons of Chaos. While trying to figure out why and how her husband is still alive after all these years and figure out who is truly doing the murders, Molly finds happiness with the least expected person, Parker. Once they get through the formalities Molly and Parker start getting along better and getting to know each other and helping each other out. Molly has many friends that range from humans to Vampire, Werewolves etc and they all help her to solve this mystery.
It took a minute for the book to get going. Once it did though it kept me guessing who did what. The only thing I would have liked to have known more on is Isa, more background story because the way the book started and the reasoning for Isa was a little off for me. Otherwise it was pretty good. The ending is like a true ending not all fairy tale which is good. Can’t wait for book 2.
