Oh my…this one wasn’t like the rest it was almost a nod to her previous dark romance books, and I loved it. Tristan was always this enigma like we meet him here and there, but he was just there kind of like a ghost. Then he meets Hana and finds someone who is the light to his dark the woman that will walk with him through Hell and come out the other side even better. My dude seriously turns into a kinky no holds barred John Wick which let’s be honest it was always who he was, but she magnified that by a hundred. Hana is just a daddy’s girl who is studying law. Slowly watching her friends pair up and she’s happy but feels like she needs more. She is hesitant to date Tristan because of his working relationship with her father Lake Cutler and she knows he’s not always on the up and up. When she finally agrees to that one date her life changes. She finds that she really doesn’t want to go into law it was just something she was doing for the family business. She knows walking beside Tristan will be dangerous, but he will be there to rescue her and that’s all she needs in life.


This was a pairing I never seen coming. Hana was so goody goody or at least seemed that way. Tristan is a man with bloodlust. He is not afraid to smack some folks around with his ever-present best friend the devil on his shoulder Alexei. What a force those two are. I will say so far Tristan is at the top of the list of book boyfriends from this series. Go read this series and you’ll love all the couples!!
