New Review! Iron Mike by Patricia Rose, 5 Cranky Stars

 

A fantastic debut from Patricia Rose. The writing and editing is excellent, the plot well executed, and the characters believable.

Iron Mike is dystopian-science fiction. At the heart of this there is a great romance, a lot of humor, and intense drama to balance out the story.

It's a story about survival against the odds. The characters aren't insta-heroes. They're thrown into unthinkable conditions and situations, and have to work their way out of them.

Character growth is phenomenal. You go through it with them, imagining yourself in their situations, and how you would react.  

Told from multiple perspectives, the work is delivered in a unique narrative structure, to give you something original and unforgettable. 

This is a book that grips you. I'm looking forward to more from this author.
