New Review! Make me Believe by Karen Ferry, 5 Cranky Stars

A fantastic debut from Karen Ferry. The story is touching and heartfelt, and an examination of personal growth.

The work centers around the free spirited Emma whose outside persona masks the secrets she keeps hidden. Working at a bookstore, in between going to school, she meets Daniel. Geeky, but hot, Daniel breaks Emma slowly out of her shell. They're total opposites, but they connect. NB: Watching these two fall in love is beautiful.

The past has a way of catching up and when secrets are revealed, the two have to decide whether they can cope and survive them.

This is a really heartwarming read and I really loved it.
