New Review! Beneath the Vine by Lilian Bryant 5 Cranky Stars

Beneath the VineBeneath the Vine by Lillian Bryant
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Cranky Stars

Selene was a cellist. She had a dream of teaching at a prestigious Los Angeles school. Determined to make her life worth something she studied and worked hard. During one performance she meets Bennett.

He's a cut throat businessman with a past. Out of he guilt he gets caught up in the wrong kind of business. He meets Selene and knows he has to have her. In comes Gage his former best friend. They share a sordid past filled with sex and lies. Gage is hiding secrets of his own. Together they come together for Selene.

This book was the right amount of steamy yet underneath it all that was just the surface. When you looked deeper it was about epic love. These two sacrificed themselves at times and you kept screaming for them to get a grip.

I admired Selene and her know what she wanted attitude. So one thing made me chuckle and it was kind of how Bennett's past reminded me of Batman minus the ninja training. He was basically opposite Batman. Gage stole my heart. I don't know what else to say. If you like drama and mystery and above all else love then please read this book!! Kudos to you Lillian Bryant!! Fingers crossed for more.
