After reading the first book, I immediately started the second book in this series and I am just....wowed. This is a great book. The book definitely and amazingly compliments the first book . You already know all the characters. We get a little more insight and background on some of the guys and other characters. There is another main character that gets introduced. We finally meet some characters that were talked about briefly, in the first book but now they're in the story.


For me this is a hard book to review without giving spoilers because everything is so interwoven together. Basically this is a paranormal, fantasy, romance, reverse harem.... adventure. This is definitely not a young adult novel. Everyone is consenting adults in the story and there are some very steamy scenes but the writing is excellent and the storytelling and world-building is fantastic.


If you like strong, smart, kick butt heroines this book is for you. If you like steamy love scenes this book is for you. If you like descriptions of extremely hot and romantic men, this book is for you. If you're not scared away by the reverse Harem aspect, this book is for you lol . If you like magic this is definitely the book for you.


I can't wait for the next book. Sariah Skye has a fan, in me. I am so glad i gave this a shot. Thank you, for making such a fascinating world to escape too.
