New Review! Escape the Night (The Sparrow and The Raven Novella) by K.A. Graham 4.5 Cranky Stars

Escape The Night (The Sparrow and The Raven novella)Escape The Night by KA Graham
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 Cranky Stars

Oh, Tyler Barnes you broke my heart then gave me hope. Hope that from the ashes of tragedy you can rise and find love and acceptance again. Tyler is a phoenix.

Tyler has suffered the ultimate loss and blames his brother Dominic. He now finds himself in Rolling Hills trying to get his mind right. He’s angry and surly and refuses to come to grips with his life and his ill placed blame. His counselor walks in and she lights a spark in him. He feels guilty for this feeling and tries to deny it, but she calms him. Morgan knows a relationship with a patient is a no go. She can’t help but see herself in Tyler. She too has suffered a loss. What will happen to them when their love is forbidden so to speak?

This is a novella so it’s quick. I think that suits Tyler best. His story is one of tragedy and love. This novel spans 4 years or so but you don’t feel like it’s being rushed. You get to see more of Dominic and his sparrow. I liked Morgan she knew it was unethical and she distanced herself while remaining true to him. I loved Tiny the orderly with a heart! This was a little outside the K.A. Graham of naughty with a heart. It did have some steamy sexy times that made my kindle fog up, but it was so much more than that. You need to really read this series.
