New Review! Blood Rebirth (Devine) by Stevie McCoy 5 Cranky Stars

Blood Rebirth (Divine)Blood Rebirth by Stevie McCoy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Cranky Stars

This is book 2 in the 3 part Divine Series. I found out about book 1 when I noticed that the story really didn’t make sense so I read Blood Crescent. There are a large group of characters and in spots it gets really confusing but the storyline is entertaining. I love that it is set in the modern day timeframe.

Crystal had never known her mother and her father died when she was 14. He put her on a bus and sent her away to be watched over by Aislan. So really, she knew nothing about magic. In this book, she is now 16, has been transported to the school where she hopes to learn all she can and find her mother if she’s still alive. However, she still knows very little of how her magic works and these are the people who kidnapped her mother and possibly killed her.

At this school, she is in a hostile environment. She can’t work the school map or any of the school doors. At least she has one friend, a djinn. Around every corner is danger and strange creatures. I can’t really say too much more without putting in spoilers. This is a page turner that one can’t put down. Then again- major cliff hanger! UGH!!
