New Review! Fighter (Prophecy #2) by Jessica Wayne 5 Cranky Stars

Fighter (Prophecy, #2)Fighter by Jessica Wayne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Cranky Stars

I read the first book in this series and enjoyed it so this one didn't disappoint me. It continues straight on from the last book where Ana pushes the injured Dakota through the portal and closes it to stay and fight the Brutes. This ended up being a bad decision as Ana was captured for her uncle, Vincent, who wants all her powers. He subjects her to horrendous torture to turn her to the dark side (no not Star Wars!!!).

She is not turned and stronger than what he thought, but while he and the Brutes have been torturing her Vincent has put everything right in Seatle and becomes the cities hero. In Terrina Dakota has recovered but can not open a portal to save Ana. They come upon a tribe of Brutes, but are shocked to find out the King is in here and Brutes are not usually a violent race, it has been Vincent brainwashing them.

So they conspire together to try and save the village, free Ana and destroy Vincent. I can not say much more without giving spoilers away, I just recommend you read it. So many emotions through this book and very well written. Oh and guess what???? It ends on a cliff hanger, can't wait to read book three now.
