This author should get extra stars for making me ugly cry more than once. The storyline is gripping and relevant and the characters are just amazing.


Heather is drowning in grief. In a short span of time she lost her entire family and is struggling to come to terms with it. On a whim, she drives to her grandparents cottage in Beckley Mi where she promptly gets pulled over for going 120 mph. She is a hellcat on wheels.


Imagine Sargent Brian Daniels' surprise when the car he pulled over for going twice the legal limit belonged to a beautiful woman. Instant attraction to the driver aside, he fell hard for this amazing muscle car. Now he's finally staring to feel alive and wants more time with Heather.


This story took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. So many tragedies and so much love. The dynamics of the characters pulled this story together and made it a new favorite for me.
