New Review! Heartless Hero by Mary Catherine Gebhard 3 Cranky Stars
Heartless Hero by Mary Catherine Gebhard
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3 Cranky Stars
Abigail was the youngest child of three born to a very rich family, so rich they were above everybody including the law. She picked up a homeless boy when they were both 13 and they grew up together. He was taken by her grandfather to train to be a bodyguard. He comes back to her as a bitter, evil bodyguard to Abigail the girl he has always loved and she turned her back on him. All Abigail ever wanted was to be loved, her mother, brother and sister were nasty.
The first quarter of this book as an intriguing read. Theo, the boy, was so nasty and it was written very well. I felt sorry for Abigail. As the book goes on it became a bit disjointed and didn't flow. Ignoring that and reading on some of the events were a little unbelievable, but it is fiction!!!
Parts of the book are very good.
