New Review! The Light Catcher Murders by Jo Cassie McRae 5 Cranky Stars

The Light Catcher MurdersThe Light Catcher Murders by Jo Cassie McRae
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Cranky Stars

This was an enjoyable story in the style of Agatha Christie. Lots of action and three murders. What more could a mystery lover look for. The characters are very believable and it takes place in the a small town near modern day Austin, Texas. The title refers to photographers and is a very apt description of their abilities.

Lucy Celek is an up and coming novice. Her small town has a photography festival every year and this year, she is the featured artist. Her crowning piece is a huge mural. There is some discord however, her rival is obnoxiously berating her at every occasion. He has always won the featured spot and doesn't believe anyone is better than him. When Lucy's mural is destroyed, she is sure Stewart is the culprit. Well, then the murders start and her best friend, Kate starts investigating. Who is Kate and her husband? Why are they so good at investigating these events and what do they uncover? You'll have to read the book to find out. I must watch for sequels to this one, that's how much I liked it.
