To say that Fiona Harper hated Montana was an understatement. The state, the town of Big Timber, and more specifically the Lazy D Dude Ranch induced terror, panic and fury. Only a deep and powerful bond of love for her sister, Brianna Rose, could bring Fiona back to Montana. Knowing that Briana needs her, Fiona agrees to return to the Lazy D Ranch in Montana, in spite of her desperate terror that her sanity and life hang in the balance.

SH Pratt has the ability to write real and likable characters. People with substance and real life issues. Ones that won't just go away with sweet words and boo-boo kisses.
Austin and Fi have both had their fair share of tragedy. He has anger issues and she is struggling with her demons.
They end up working together at the ranch and slowly, their relationship develops. I really enjoyed the way SH Pratt explored this. They have trust issues - serious trust issues. They're attracted to each other, but this isn't instalove. It's the development of something special between two very damaged and interesting people.
You'll find yourself cheering for them, willing them to get their happy ever after. Will they? Well, you'll have to read for yourself.
I am a huge fan of SH Pratt. She has the uncanny ability to pull every emotion straight from your soul. She writes strong characters who you can’t help but love.
If you haven’t read SH Pratt’s work yet, I highly recommend them. Do yourself a favor and pick one up!
