New Review! King by TM Frazier, 5 Cranky Stars

First of all, I can’t believe I waited so long to read this book. Second of all, oh my lawd! King is a dirty rotten scoundrel, who makes no excuses for the man he is, and I’m crushing hard on this mega sexy alpha of a man. He’s super hot and broody, with so many secrets inside their literally bursting every which way.

Just out of jail for the umpteenth time, King encounters pleasure and pain in the presence of Doe. Ironically enough, Doe has no memory of who she once was, and gets into a sticky situation involving King and his counterparts. Absolutely LOVE Preppy, who’s been King’s best friend and right hand man since they were kids. He brings the comedic relief to this very dark and twisted story.

Doe brings out the best and worst in King, and he’s beyond confused by the emotions stirring inside. She’s a definite ray of sunshine in his darkened world, and he wants to keep her close, yet push her aside. It’s a thin line between love and hate throughout the whole story, and just when you think it’s calming down…BAM…that ending though! It makes you crazy for book 2, Tyrant, and I have my one click finger ready…set…go!
