Gabi has suffered loss at the hands of drug addiction. Every year her birthday is a reminder of the loss she is facing. She channels this grief into being an online moderator for a drug addiction support group. She strikes up a friendship with a guy who is drowning but has so much to lose. Flash forward years later they are best friends and one day they meet. You see she knows what he looks like because he’s a famous bass player for Reckless Beat but he has never met her.
Blake is hiding a dark secret from his bandmates and the world. He turns to an online support group where he can truly be himself and lay his lies out without judgement. He didn’t expect to forge a bond with an online moderator who became the most important person in his life. He’s flying high with the band and decides to meet this girl who has influenced his life. They go up like a barn on fire and the crash is inevitable. Blakes past catches up and hearts are on the line.
Passionate Addiction is about loss and drug use and manipulation and most of love sweet love. Did I mention the steamy sexy times? Plenty of that too. I really liked Blake and Gabis story. She wasn’t always easy to forgive and forget which made her a perfect match for him. I’m really beginning to like the Reckless Beat boys. I wonder who’s next?
