Azalea, or as her friends call her AzzyJo, is a spitfire of a girl with a big heart. Her mouth gets her into a lot of trouble as does jumping to conclusions. She has loved Drake since they were kids but countless set backs have stopped her from making her move. Now they are locked in a battle with one thinking one thing and one the other.


Drake loves his little bit. She stopped him in his tracks when they were younger and AzzyJo has been it for him. He can’t seem to figure out why she has a huge wall around her when it comes to him. He sets out to show her how much he loves her but it’s not without a struggle.


I didn’t connect to Azalea and Drakes story but I still read it with rapt attention. I just didn’t understand the way Azalea would always jump to conclusions without any thought. She seemed childish at times even though she ran a business and had her own place. All in all it was a good story.
