New Review! Sirens (Prophecy Series #4) by Jessica Wayne 5 Cranky Stars

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fourth book in the fantastic Prophecy Series. After two years trouble free, Dakota wants to settle down and have a family, but Ana is reluctant at the moment she feels unrest coming. Ana and Dakota often travelled to the other worlds to make sure that they were ok. Suddenly a new enemy washes through a world and kills almost all, then she appeared in Terrenia a mermaid/siren. She wants Dakota and Vincent's son, but she is answering to a higher master. Ana's powers did not affect the siren at all. The siren could kill anybody within minutes by making them drown. She was determined to make Dakota hers to mate with.
As with the other books a lot goes on eg. Dakota is kidnapped, Ana is banished and a big surprise concerning Dakota's mother. Are but a few twists and turns. There is an amusing streak running through this book which is Vincent's ghost. The evil has left him in death, but he keeps popping up wanting to help with his funny little quips. Ana still doesn't trust him, but all he wants to do is help as this new enemy is after his son. Such a well written book left on a high, can't wait to read next one.
