New Review! Falcon (Trinity Academy #1) by Michelle Heard 5 Cranky Stars

Falcon (Trinity Academy #1)Falcon by Michelle Heard
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Cranky Stars

Falcon Reyes had the world at his feet. Money to spare and women falling at his feet. No one ever told him no and he found he was in a rut. His home life was atrocious and his vile mother was pushing a viper on him with severe mental issues. He figured if he has his best friends Lake and Mason at him side life was good. He suddenly realizes he has a heart when he notices a woman being tormented by the viper Serena and her evil sidekick Greyson and he steps in to claim her. Little did he know Layla was going to be a life changer for him and he will do whatever it takes to keep her at his side.

Layla is not the typical Trinity Academy student. She doesn’t come from money and her mom is Mr. Reyes assistant, so she was gifted the opportunity to study there. She tries hard to fly under the radar, but Serena and Greyson have her in their crosshairs. Layla keeps her head down and just tries to study while making friends with Kingsley. All is going well until she makes eye contact with Falcon and he has to come to her rescue. She learns the man with the scowl and all the money likes her and she sets out to learn all she can about him and the world he lives in. It’s not easy and people are trying to tear them apart at every stop but will love persevere despite their differences?

Dang it Michelle Heard does it again!! I always look forward to her stories and this one was no different. Falcon is not someone you like at first but then you realize he’s just a lost boy under that exterior. I love that he stood his ground and not let anyone sway him from being with Layla. Layla was a kickbutt chickadee. She knew what she wanted she made no apologies for who she was. She seen the differences in them but made it work. Mrs. Reyes well she and Serena can go kick rocks or take a long walk off a short pier. I hated them hardcore. I’m excited to see what Mason and Lake have in store. Seriously though that ending? Why woman why?
