New Review! A Selfish Purpose (Nine Kingdoms #) by Ann Bakshis 5 Cranky Stars

A Selfish Purpose (Nine Kingdoms Book 6)A Selfish Purpose by Ann Bakshis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Cranky Stars

The Saga continues in this sixth book. The Nine Kingdoms are still in turmoil. The players are still vying for position. Some are still in Reynes and the others are in Toorkuns. Honora and Evander are touring/searching Toorkuns and the other unknown realms for the ashes of Dolos. They have no idea that Fane has already retrieved them back in Reynes. Lycus is trying to recruit aid to keep those kingdoms together. Everyone is vying for something.

I love how the author has created this world and all the creatures living there. There are giants, dwarfs, dwarf giants, giants, and elves, elfrai, griffins, etc. My favorite is the dragons that were created by the Shadows. This is a remarkable journey through coastal lands, deserts, and mountains. Most of these creatures tolerate each other but can turn with any little provocation. Humans are considered lesser beings by the dark creatures and the humans want to destroy the dark creatures. Each story keeps you on the edge of your seat and when one crisis ends, another occurs. It just shows that the battle between good and evil will never end. In fact, it hasn't so book 7 must be coming.
