5 Cranky Stars

It's not often you read a story about someone who's ill. They are usually young and full of life with a grand future. I wish that could be said for Hannah. She was diagnosed with an unknown condition so while she's young she certainly doesn't have much time. She has a great life with great parents on their maple farm. Life is good for her expect her impending end. It's not until she meets a mysterious stranger named Ellister. He makes her feel whole and alive. He takes away her pain he gives her some hope. Ellister isn't what everyone thinks he is. He isn't some random stranger on the farm from the bank. He's there for Hannah and not in the way you think. He finds he has some admiration for Hannah and sets out to find a way to save her or at least make her last days full of love and light.

This was such an interesting story. It also has some little ties to another series set loosely in this world. My face lit up when i realized the little connections. My heart broke for Hannah she had such a good life and for Ellister who after years finally found his mate. I can't wait to read the next book.
