New Review! Protector by Michelle Horst, 5 Cranky Stars
Protector by Michelle Horst
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
***** 5 Cranky Stars *****
Michelle Horst is the queen of brutal love stories. Her stories punch you in the face when you least expect it and you will like it and beg for more.
Riley is a girl full of hopes and dreams. Traveling the world to experience all it has to offer. Her family is supportive and ideally the perfect unit.
She adores her brothers, especially Josh. He is her person and he calls her his shooting star. Sadly, tragedy strikes and those few chapters will kick you in the feels.
Riley is then rescued by Griffin McGraw. A member of her brothers team. Griffin is a rough around the edges guy who holds his cards close. Sparks fly when he lays his eyes on Riley. He knows he's in no position to give his heart. In a promise to her brother, he protects her at all cost.
I've been looking forward to this book since Predator ended. This book is full of heart and gut wrenching violence. I wanted more.
That message at the end had me crying. Yes, I am enough and brave and so are you and your beautiful words touch lives.
