Holden is serving a sentence for protecting the one girl who will never know. He gave his life up so that she doesn't have to live in fear. Fast forward to the present and he's still serving that sentence while trying to raise and protect his children. Being in control of his surroundings and his family is how Holden copes.


Meena is the eldest daughter of 7 and more of a mother to her siblings than sister. She loves children and becomes a Nanny to help them grow. Her one weakness??? The one unobtainable man that makes her heart flutter and knees weak. It's not just him though, it's his children too. When she accepts the position to Nanny his two children it's a no brainer. Meena will take the temporary and deal with heartache later. Holden is more unobtainable now than when he was married. But sparks fly, hearts soar and heads clash. Can this be forever?


Again I'm in awe with Xavier Neal. To take such strong and delicate subjects and write them with class is a talent in and of itself. This author grabbed my attention and then squeezed my heart. I look forward to reading many more works from Xavier Neal.
