Luv has been alone almost her entire adult life with her daughter Renie. Being widowed at such a young age has her shutting her emotions down, until Ben.


Ben is an up and coming country star. Armed with his guitar and voice, he's taking the scene by storm. While playing at Red Rocks he sets his eyes on Liv and he's a Conner, only she keeps running away. Several chance meetings and a few broken hearts have them breaking apart rather than coming together.


I had a difficult time getting into this book even though the storyline is really good. It gives you all the feels while trying to build the relationships of the characters. What really put me off was how choppy it was. The story tended to jump at the wrong point almost reading like a soap opera.
