New Review! Breathing Wisteria (a Fleurs d'amore Novel #4) by Amali Rose 4.5 Cranky Stars
Breathing Wisteria by Amali Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4.5 Cranky Stars
Wyatt is the last of her group of friends to settle down and have kids of her own. She has everyone convinced it’s just not in the cards for her and she is happy with her life the way it is. Little do they know she is harboring a dark secret and a great loss. Her mask is slipping and it’s only a matter of time before she must confront her past to hopefully lay the demons to rest. What she didn’t expect was that despite the years she still loves Flynn as fiercely as she did ten years ago.
Flynn has all the fame and fortune he could ever want the only he doesn’t have is happiness. He held it in his arms many years ago but lost it due to a life altering tragedy. He’s struggling to make it day to day but when he hears Wyatt is going to a dark place, he drops his life and runs to her. Ten years or ten days he still loves her with all his soul. They have problems to hash out and a future to decide on. Flynn wants to share his forever with Wyatt.
Oh, my heart. Darn you Amali!! It broke but then it soared then well it dropped toward the end. Wyatt was always an enigma to me in this series. She seemed to have her life together. Their secret broke my heart. I can’t imagine such a loss. Flynn is a rocker with a heart. I loved it. This book isn’t all heartbreak though. There is a scheming manipulative witch named Giselle who doesn’t do a woman scorned to well. Flynn and Wyatt’s chemistry is also off the charts. As always Amali Rose mixes heartbreak with redemption and red-hot sexy times. I’m so glad I picked up the first novel and it’s been a heck of a ride since.
