New Review! Sloth (The Elite Seven #6) by Giana Darling 4.5 Cranky Stars

Sloth (The Elite Seven, #6)Sloth by Giana Darling
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 Cranky Stars

I was so excited for Sloth and Giana Darling didn’t disappoint bringing his story to life. He just always seems to be around and willing to help anyone out and he oddly knows a lot about the workings of the brotherhood despite being very blasé about it.

Rush Dempsey AKA Sloth only joined the Elite Seven to have an inside look to take them down. His father is part of the elite organization and Rush believes he had a hand in the death of his mother. Rush and Ward never got along because Ward viewed him as the “lazy” son who was babied his whole life. When he was given his task and that was to get the quiet church mouse Isabelle Savoie out the way so the elite can take down the Archbishop Savoie Rush didn’t expect the quiet virginal girl to spark his interest. Now armed with a purpose and the perfect girl he will take the Elite down at any cost.

Isabelle Savoie was groomed in the church. She lived by her fathers’ word and the word of the holy book. She wasn’t really allowed any outside friends or influences. If she stepped out of line, she had to pay for her sins. When her father tells her, she needs to attend this dinner with someone very influential she doesn’t realize what her father intends to do. She turns to Rush to rescue and corrupt her to make her less attractive to the wrong person. Isabelle is about to enter a world like she has never seen and fall for the boy everyone seems to covet yet fear.

Oh my god!! Rush Dempsey YES! I like that he was just a shadow always around, but he was gathering information. The way this whole book played out made so much sense but I’m curious to see how Greed will play out. Also, that ending!!! I just love how Sloth would show up for any of his brothers. I felt so bad for Isabelle and I was so glad she found an avenging angel in Rush. I’m sad to see this series come to a close. Only one more story……
