As usual Jordan Elizabeth and delivers yet another amazing story, it starts out with a girl who is being moved into the clay house in a small town away from her friends and rest of her family with her mother, brother, and her stepfather. She starts to explore and realizes there's some weird things about the house. Her stepfather starts to act strangely and she finds this doll that is apparently possessed in a run down barn on the property. The little brother takes a liking to the little doll and becomes possessed himself and starts acting strangely.


The Stepfather becomes violent towards the mother, the son, and eventually to her. The truth comes out that the stepfather had not only killed her mom's best friend, but had killer her husband too. Through her own research she discovers many years ago the clay house was burned down by the a girl who use to live there. The girl burned down the house to rid it of the evil that now lurks there again.
