New Review! Dancing in the Dark by T.L. Martin 5 Cranky Stars
Dancing in the Dark by T.L. Martin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
5 Cranky Stars
T.L. Martin is an emerging author, but you would never know from the stories she tells through her words. She writes with elegance and with an ability to create such vivid images in the reader's head. Dancing in the Dark is no exception to this!
Without giving away too much of the plot, Emmy stumbles upon 4 brothers who run a company. She is hired to be their "secretary," but doesn't realize that she is linked to these brothers in a much deeper way.
Throughout the story, you learn more about how they possibly may be connected. The history that they share is dark, intense, and sometimes horrifying.
Martin has a way of keeping you on the edge of your seat, and just when you think you have everything figured out, she throws in a curve ball and you are completely blindsided.
I would highly recommend that you read this story, especially if you like suspense, angst, and passion. Even if reading dark novels isn't your thing, you should still consider reading it--it's so worth it!
Triggers: abuse, (graphic) torture, kidnapping, and neglect of minors & adults
