The author has taken a previous series and reworked and renamed it. I hadn't read the original series but I highly recommend these stories.


The story takes place in modern day London and its outskirts. There are many British terms used but for us Americans, its not too hard to figure out. For instance- jumper in England is a sweater here. Anyway, this story revolves around the loss of magic by normal humans. The witches have almost been wiped out and a group of warlocks is trying to take over with Black Magic. The last hope is a group of eight young witches who have been brought together to find their soul match and revive magic. They are the last witch coven. They were young kids when given to the Coven. This book chronicles Penny's journey to find her soul match. These kids are only 18 and have been sheltered from normal life. Fun to read with non stop action is why I rated 5 stars.
