This one would make a fabulous romcom/chick flick! The hapless heroine who thinks she has hit the jackpot with her up and coming lawyer fiance. He's just trying to help her become a responsible adult by paying off her credit cards and ordering her to never use them again. They need to save for their wedding and future home. And shopping is childish and irresponsible.
Cue the old friend, the lie about working in her dream career, and that darned burnt orange designer pashmina. Oh and the 5 hour butt dial to Brazil leaving her deeply, deeply in debt - debt that she cannot tell her fabulous fiance about.
Then, what is a romcom without the best friend with all kinds of bravado and moxie? And when she finds the perfect solution to solve the hapless heroine's financial woes? You just have to love her, right? One of her salon clients is in desperate need of a receptionist, hours are flexible around her going nowhere part time, not impressive salary, job she hates, and the pay is more than double. There has to be a catch, right?
So....the job is at Heavenly Pleasures...a name like that has to be either a brothel or an over achieving confectionery, right? Well, it's not the latter.
The story that follows is a great show of looking beyond stereotypes, removing blinders about people and situations in your life that maybe aren't all you have made them out to be, some comical mishaps, some serious drama, and just what is it about Paul?
Great fun and highly recommended!
