That Secret Society of women are at it again. One of the members, Sarah, got a threatening note left on her car windshield warning her not to get involved with city business and then another note was sent to her home. Sarah likes one of the firefighters, Hugh, and finds out how many hours they have been working and that because of budget cuts no one can be hired. Of course, there is someone who doesn’t want them snooping around. What will happen? Will they help solve this issue?


This book actually got my interest early on. It had the laughter, awkward moments, love and seriousness. The characters worked well together in the story. I would recommend this book.
