Re Release Blitz! Confessions of a Klutz (Confessions #1) by Abigail Davies

Release Date: September 26, 2018
Cover Design: Pink Elephant Designs

Confession One: I was a klutz. I thought I’d grow out of it, but evidently I didn’t. It’s not fun to look like a fumbling toddler when you’re twenty-six.
Confession Two: I had a standing appointment at the local ER. It wasn’t by choice that I knew all the doctors names—it was necessity. But that was about to change. Confession Three: I hated the sun yet I lived in LA where it always shone. I supposed that was one plus to being sent to New York for the next eight weeks. That was until I got there. Arm veins, dimples and, THE sexiest voice known to man were my weakness, and he had every single one of them. Confession Four: He was my new boss. I could control myself though, right? The city of dreams… a klutz’s worst nightmare. Eight weeks. A klutz. And a drool worthy boss. What did you get when you crossed a klutz with a GQ model lookalike? I was about to find out.

When she's not writing: she's a mother to two daughters who she encourages to use their imagination as she believes that it's a magical thing, or getting lost in a good book. Release Boost! The Sparrow and The Raven by KA Graham

The Sparrow and The Raven
by KA Graham
Genre: Dark Romance
Release Date: September 4, 2018

The struggle between good and evil.

Life's constantly throwing me curveballs. It's what I do with them that determines my destiny. Everyone has dreams of the perfect life. Depending on what your vision of happiness is, you try your hardest to achieve it.

I thought I had found that special someone, until the bottom fell out and I woke from my dream; realizing I'd actually been living a nightmare all along. Nothing seems real anymore as I walk through the haze of what has become my life.

When I sank to the bottom where the darkness eclipsed the light, I began to struggle against the quicksand of sorrow, hoping I could make it back to the top.

In the blink of an eye, my life turned out for the worse. I was drowning in the chaos of what had become my life. What do you do when you've lost everything you once held close to your heart?

After turning to alcohol, sex, and cheap women to soothe the ache, I decided I needed to find the man I once was before there was no coming back. My soul bled for the other half of my heart.

She entered my life like a tiny hurricane in need of direction. Could this be what I've been searching for? Could she be my salvation?

“I want a new tattoo of a Lotus flower. I’ve been reading up on the meaning, and after all that's happened, I think it’s perfect. They grow in the mud, blossoming into new beginnings. My past represents the mud that I was slowly sinking in, and my present with you is my new beginning.”
“I think it’s a beautiful idea, Sparrow. I have an idea, too. You wanna make a stop before heading back to my place? I have a friend who I trust with my work, and he will do your vision justice. Trust me?” He looks at me with adoration in his eyes.
“I'd follow you to the ends of the earth, Dominic. I trust you with my life, so lead the way, sexy.”
Driving up to a tiny shop on the corner of a rundown shopping center, I feel like we've entered some abandoned ghetto in a gruesome horror flick. The neon sign on the front of the building simply reads Tattoo, and is missing an O. Perfectly creepy.
“Remember when I said I trusted you? I may be eating those words now.” Giving him a side glance, I can see the smirk on his face.
“The fancy new mall a few miles out of town has run off a lot of customers, but the loyal ones have stuck it out. Believe me, I wouldn't take you somewhere I didn’t think was safe. I have precious cargo with me now.”
Jesus, how can I not trust him?
“Ok, but if I see any zombies dragging their feet my way, you best believe that I will throw you to the beasts. I love you, but survival comes first.” Dominic laughs while clutching his heart.
“You wound me, Sparrow. Come on, let's go.”

No one sets out in life to hit rock bottom.

I found the man I loved, got married, and that was all I got. It went south so fast  I never saw the bottom coming, until I was face first in the darkness with the devil himself.

I became a spiraling tornado of chaos. Love, lies, and drugs. It twisted around me, as did his arms. Nothing was the same, nothing will ever be the same…

Cover and Excerpt Reveal! The Other Blue Sky by Shari J Ryan

Release Date: October 24, 2018
Cover Design: MadHat Books

Very few people can say they were born inside a concentration camp during the Holocaust. Disease, starvation, and much worse, prevented most prisoners from surviving. For infants, it was nearly impossible.
I became an anomaly. I shouldn’t be alive. As a child, I didn’t know my life was different from that of others. I had nothing to compare it to, and I had no insight about the day I was born ... until the moment I overheard the truth. In a split second, I became a stranger to my reflection, my name, and my reason for being. I was not Annie anymore, and the people raising me were not my parents. Even the blue sky I cherished became an unfamiliar sight. I felt utterly alone in a foreign world, but that changed when I met another person who was lost, like me. Fisher offered his hand to hold and began to prove his theory of, “When two missing people find one another, they can consider themselves found.” Fisher enlightened me, and through him, I gained a deeper understanding of life. Now, I know there are two sides of the beautiful, blue sky. I’m on one side, and my lost loved ones are on the other, but at the end of it all, we’ll be together again under the one and only sky.

The moments following a first kiss stayed with me in my memories throughout my life. Maybe it was because I only experienced one first kiss, but if I had dreamt of what a kiss might be like ... that one would have exceeded all expectations.
My body felt like it was overflowing with glitter—like a snow globe that had just been set down after being fiercely shaken.
My feet were no longer bothering me as we retraced our steps down the steep hill, and Fisher’s hand was no longer cold because it was holding mine.
I didn’t feel apprehensive with him like I had earlier. It seemed as though we had gone from strangers to the very best of friends, and more, within hours that one day. In reality, though, our friendship had been blossoming throughout the previous two years from within our written words. Our kiss was like the lick of an envelope, sealing in all the certainty we were seeking since we first exchanged letters.
The moments we shared that night were causing me to forgot the reason I had flown across the world. I supposed it seemed as though Fisher was enough of an excuse to go anywhere. I felt things I had never imagined before, and my emotions were uncontainable.
“I should be a gentleman and walk you to the Inn now,” he said as we reached the bottom of the hill.
Disappointment shrouded me with the thought of saying good night, or goodbye, for that matter. I knew there was a chance that our kiss made him feel differently about our friendship, possibly opposite of what I was feeling, and I had to keep that in the back of my mind before I got too ahead of myself. “Of course,” I said, unsure of how else I should have responded. I didn’t want to sound desperate or pushy.
“If that’s what you want for the evening, I will walk you there now,” he continued.
I stopped walking. I was too focused on trying to understand what Fisher was saying, because he sounded as if he meant something different.“Well, what is it you want?” I turned the question around, hoping to earn a straightforward answer.
“If I can be completely sincere with you, I’d like nothing more than the pleasure of taking you out for dinner tonight. Furthermore, I would also like to take you to Old Town for a Trdelnik.”
I could feel the smile on my face beaming even though I was trying to compose myself. I wanted to spend more time with Fisher more than I wanted to do anything else in Prague, which felt silly since I was on a mission to find my roots. I guess the heart has a way of speaking louder than the mind. I learned that lesson a time or two. “That would be lovely,” I told him. “I’m not sure what you mean by a turtleneck, though. In America, a turtleneck is part of a shirt.”
Fisher threw his head back and held his stomach as he laughed. The sound of his laughter was heartwarming. It was full of happiness and joy, yet I had no idea why he was laughing so hard.
“First of all, I know what a turtleneck is. We call that kind of apparel, Polo Necks, here. Second, I said, ‘Trdelnik.' It’s a pastry—one Czechoslovakia is known for."
I was happy it was dark out because I could feel my cheeks burning with embarrassment. Fisher's accent was undoubtedly thick, and I was still doing my best to understand him when he spoke fast, but I miss understood that word pretty well. “Oh gosh, I didn’t understand correctly,” I told him while covering my mouth with the back of my hand in an attempt to hide my face.
He reached across his chest and gently tugged my hand away from my mouth. “You are sweet ... please don’t hide your beautiful face again.”
With a chill from his flattering words, I took in a lungful of the crisp, pine-scented air and peered up at the starlit sky.
Everything around me felt so surreal—even the sky. Outside of the town, it was easy to see millions of stars above us. I had never seen so many stars or the sky look so big, not after growing up in a busy city like New York. It was quite hard to see stars there with all the blinding city lights. I’m not sure I had realized what I was missing until that night.

Release Blitz! The Road Home by Krista Sandor

You can outrun a lot of things. The truth isn’t one of them.

Jenna Lewis has spent the last fourteen years lying about her past, but all that changes when a family emergency calls her back to the quaint town of Langley Park. Her plan is to get in and get out as quickly as possible, but things become complicated when she comes face-to-face with her lost childhood love who is struggling with his own demons. While neither wants to admit their connection is still lightning-hot, the intensity of their attraction is too strong to deny.

But not everything is as it seems.

Unsettling events begin to occur, threatening not only Jenna’s second chance at love but her very life. Will she survive what lies ahead? Can her heart navigate the road home?

The Road Home is a sexy standalone romance in the Langley Park series.

Jenna glanced away from the children and met Ben’s gaze. She gave him an embarrassed smile as the little girls danced around her.
“Looks like we might get some weather,” Zoe said, motioning to the lightning in the distance.
“It’s that time of year,” Sam replied with a yawn.
“All right, lazy bones, why don’t we give poor Jenna a reprieve,” Zoe said, taking Sam’s hand and joining Jenna and the children on the pavilion dance floor.
Sam picked up Kate, and Zoe ushered the remaining little girls over to watch a woman making balloon animals. Jenna was left standing alone as the first few notes of Eric Clapton’s ballad “Wonderful Tonight” began to play.
Jenna turned to leave, and Ben’s heart rate kicked up. His limbs twitched. His body was nearly vibrating. He needed to be close to her. Unable to hold himself back, he walked up the steps to the pavilion and cut off her departure.
She stopped and met his gaze, confusion clouding her eyes.
He offered her his hand. Jenna looked at it warily as if he were handing her a stick of lit dynamite.
She shook her head. “I don’t think—”
“It’s just a dance,” he countered, knowing that was a lie.
She bit her lip. He could tell she was turning something over in her mind, but she put her hand in his.
Several people had gotten up to dance, and soon the pavilion was full of couples swaying under the twinkling lights.
He gathered Jenna into his arms and inhaled, smelling the faint lavender scent of her shampoo. She shivered, and he wasn’t sure if it was because of his touch or the cool breeze that picked up and caused the hanging lights to sway as if they too were moving to the beat.
“Are you cold?” he asked, pulling her in closer.
She studied his face as if she were trying to decipher a code. “Why are you dancing with me?”
He released a pained breath. “Because I couldn’t stay away from you any longer.”
“I don’t know what you want from me. Did I do something to upset you?” Her brown eyes were full of questions.
"It’s not you.”
“It’s something,” she whispered.
A chorus of giggles erupted nearby, and Ben and Jenna looked over to see Kate and her friends sitting on the steps of the pavilion. Their hands were cradling their little chins as they watched them dance.
“I think we have an audience,” he said, then raised his arm and slowly twirled Jenna around to the little girls’ delight. He finished the turn and brought Jenna back to him.
“She’s amazing, you know?” Jenna began.
“Your daughter, she’s wonderful.”
Ben smiled. It was the first real smile to grace his lips all week. He’d been fighting his demons since the episode in the garage. Memories of Sara haunted his dreams, and he tried to block out the torment the only way he knew how—by spending his time focused on his job and his daughter.
But it wasn’t working.
Looking over at Kate, he saw how she was staring at Jenna. “I think we’re both falling for you.”
“Ben, I don’t understand, I…”
But she wasn’t able to finish.
The ping, ping, ping, sounds of rain echoed on the tin roof of the pavilion, and a sharp crack of lightning followed by the angry rumble of thunder caused the band to stop playing. Another bolt of lightning struck, and lights in the pavilion went dark as the wind whooshed through. The sound of cups and plates crashing to the ground filled the air.
Cell phone flashlights broke out through the darkness and moved erratically as the rain fell harder. Jenna felt little arms grab around her waist.
“Pick me up,” Kate cried, grabbing a fistful of Jenna’s skirt.
Ben turned on his cell’s flashlight and shined it down on Kate. “It’s all right, Bean. Remember, it’s springtime. We get lots of storms this time of year. I’ll carry you.”
“No, I want Jenna.”
“It’s all right. I’ve got her,” Jenna said, pulling Kate in close.
Kate trembled in Jenna’s arms. Ben tried to reassure his daughter, but his words were drowned out by an eerie mechanical sound penetrating the crackling air.
Tornado sirens.
