New Review! Darkness Falls (In the Light of Day #3) by K.A. Graham 4 Cranky Stars

Darkness Falls (In The Light of Day book 3)Darkness Falls by K.A. Graham
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Did I want a Stacey book? Not really I hated her and didn't think she deserved redemption. Did K.A. Graham give it to me anyway? Yep she did.

Just like previous books it was gritty, sex fueled and full of revenge. Darkness Falls is Stacey and Chris' story. It's their fall from grace to their falling in love. Its how they became friends with Quinn and Micah and eventually Devin and Jackson. It's their redemption arc and I'm not mad about it. I actually enjoyed it. Kudos to you making me kind of like a hated character. Just a little not a lot.

New Review! Lifeline by Michelle Heard 5 Cranky Stars

Warning if you're feeling extra emotional and seriously who isn't lately then take your time with this book. There are some heavy topics and watching Daniel and JJ go through the emotions and the mess they went through will make your emotions a rollercoaster.

JJ is new to the division. She's hoping she can learn all she can from O'Brien. He's a seasoned professional with lots of knowledge under his belt. O'Brien doesn't want another partner especially when he's so close to taking down a crime syndicate that he's been chasing for a long time. When JJ and O'Brien go undercover its here where loyalty is tested and hoping one person can be your lifeline in a dirty world.

I loved these two. I loved that this book spanned several years but it didn't feel rushed. You got an amazing start and a happily ever after ending. It was also spicy if you catch my drift...sir. This book has it all but like I said it will trigger some but don't let that stop you please. JJ and O'Brien are an amazing couple and her sister Lindsay is the best cheerleader. Go read it...please.

New Review! Dead Ahead (Grave Talker #5) by Annie Anderson 5 Cranky Stars

Dead Ahead (Grave Talker, #5)Dead Ahead by Annie Anderson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I shouldn't be surprised anymore when I read an Annie Anderson book yet she gets me every single darn time. She warned us that she did something bad but that wasn't what I was expecting. Betrayal and heart break. I mean Darby's heart broke too but so did mine. I even put my kindle down and said are you freaking kidding me? It's not a Darby book if she doesn't have a demon to slay or a rogue supernatural to hunt down.

Darby just wants a vacation and to just relax and possibly get more than an hour of sleep. We pick up where we left off and Darby is tossed back into some demon bull. The Prince of Hell wants her attention and her personal life is falling apart. What more can she do and how much more can she handle?

Arghh loved it! Bishop well i can't say. I love that she has friends that rally around her rather its charging into battle or getting her food and making her rest. I'm so ready for the next one.
